Can we get a standing ovation for this gorgeous Ankara skirt from Kayarize.com!
Generally when shopping online you are consciously or subconsciously judging your experience in
3 key areas and 1 bonus area:
Item as described: Is the item exactly as being described?
Customer Reviews: What are other purchasers saying about the item?
Shipping time and fees: How much is shipping and how long is it going to take to receive the item for that price?
Packaging ****Bonus Area**** : For me, packaging is a crucial part of marketing. Smart companies utilize packaging as the last effort to communicate their brand identity to customers. On the contrary there are companies (large and small) that don’t necessarily see the value in focusing their business dollars in this area at all. I can tell you this…when I receive a “custom” shipping box in the mail, I get excited.
experience deserves an A+ from beginning to end.
From the moment the skirt arrived, I was impressed by the company’s careful packaging procedure.
My skirt arrived in a suitcase sized customized Kayarize box and nesting inside was this black shopping bag baring the Kayarize logo and a hand-written THANK YOU note. Clearly the brains behind this brand take pride in their product. I love the fact that they pass that same pride along in the presentation of their garments. First impressions are lasting impressions and I really got the impression that customer service is of high importance to this company.
I’m a US size 9/10 in most skirts and sometimes a size 12 in pants/jeans. In this photo I’m wearing a size “M” for this maxi skirt and the fit was perfect.
The fabric of this Ankara skirt is veryyy soft and heavy-duty. It definitely feels high in quality. The skirt also has an inner lining that truly highlights the fine craftsmanship of the garment.
I personally think any shirt will compliment this skirt. It’s just that type of garment that goes with just about anything you lay it up against. African fabrics have the unique ability to perfectly match with contrasting fabrics and textures. I opted for this black one-piece, criss-crossed body suit that my husband chose for the skirt. We purchased my top from Dillards. It was definitely what I had in mind to pair with it because it’s non-revealing and church appropriate. Honey ya’ll are not about to have the church ushers talking bad about me lol. No pieces of my back will be hanging out in the house of the Lord lol.

This was a fun piece, I got a ton of compliments in it and I’m looking forward to adding a short fitted leather and boots to it in the cold winter months. Yes, I plan on wearing this piece all year. It’s definitely versatile enough to be worn from season to season. I’m excited about adding more Kayarize to my wardrobe.
